Facebook Study for People with Physical Disabilities

The NIDILRR-funded Rehabilitation and Research Training Center on Employment of Individuals with Physical Disabilities (VCU-RRTC) is conducting a study to determine if people with physical disabilities can gain needed information on employment by participating in a Facebook Group on employment. This six-month study is open to employed or unemployed adults with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, or multiple sclerosis. Participants must be between 18 and 65 years old and able to provide legal consent. Participants can spend as much or as little time as they choose interacting in the Facebook group or reviewing the materials disseminated through a monthly email. The goal of the research study is to test different ways to deliver employment information to individuals with physical disabilities.
