Multiple Sclerosis and Complementary Health Approaches

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has published a new NCCIH Clinical Digest for Health Professionals on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Complementary Health Approaches. This bulletin discusses how people with MS are using complementary health approaches, such as yoga, to help reduce relapses or to relieve symptoms, such as pain, fatigue, and depression, and provides the state of evidence for commonly used complementary health approaches for MS. This issue also includes clinical guidelines, links to scientific literature on this topic, and links to information for people with MS who want to learn more about complementary health approaches to MS.
