The BRAIN Initiative is a large-scale effort to equip researchers with fundamental insights necessary for treating a wide variety of brain disorders like Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, autism, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injury. Five federal agencies: NIH, NSF, FDA, DARPA, and Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA).
Report to the President Human Service Transportation Coordination, Executive Order 13330
President Bush issued an Executive Order on Human Service Transportation in February 2004 that directed Federal agencies and departments to work together to ensure that transportation services are comprehensive and accessible for all. The federal Interagency Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM) released its report to the President on how to coordinate human service transportation in order to meet fundamental needs in today's society, as well as the CCAM members' action plans and five recommendations.
The "Curb Cuts Initiative" is a Federal cross-agency effort working to increase equal employment opportunities and financial independence for individuals with disabilities, with a particular emphasis on individuals with significant disabilities.
This coordinating committee's mission is to facilitate the sharing of information concerning the efforts of Federal agencies in deafness and other communication disorders, specifically the seven scientific areas of human communication, and to foster collaboration among Federal agencies.
Originally mandated by Public Law 93-354 and established in 1974, the Diabetes Mellitus Interagency Coordinating Committee (DMICC) is chaired by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) and includes other members of the Department of Health and Human Services and other Federal agencies that support diabetes-related activities. The DMICC facilitates cooperation, communication, and collaboration on diabetes among these government entities.

The Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) is a Federal advisory committee that coordinates all efforts within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) concerning autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Through its inclusion of both Federal and public members, the IACC helps to ensure that a wide range of ideas and perspectives are represented and discussed in a public forum.
This group's annual meeting is a forum for sharing information about ongoing and planned epilepsy research activities; highlighting advances and discussing needs and opportunities; and promoting increased collaboration toward common research goals.

The PROMISE program is an interagency collaboration of the U.S. Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, Labor and the Social Security Administration. State agencies have partnered to develop and implement model demonstration projects that provide coordinated services and supports designed to improve the education and career outcomes of children with disabilities receiving SSI, including services and supports to their families.
The purpose of this Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) action plan is to focus on mental health (MH) promotion and mental illness (MI) prevention as it relates to chronic disease prevention.
